1949. Cheap Edition. 256 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, heavier to edges, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Pencil inscriptions to rear endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with mild crushing to ends.
