Hard To Find! Vintage hardback book of 252 pages from "The American Adventure Series" with a copyright of 1962. Cloth cover pictorial book is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears to be Unread and Unused! It has a public school library regulations sticker inside the front cover, but no real appearance of being used! There is a Title 1 stamp at the top inside the back cover and also the top of page 151. Outside pictorial covers are very nice with just a few very minor marks! "You have read of the brave deeds of American pioneers in the forest, on the mountains, and across the plains. But others found adventure on the seas. Of these John Paul Jones was the most famous. John Paul was a Scotch gardener's son. But his early love for the sea caused him to become a sailor. Later, he joined the Americans in their fight for justice and freedom. His skill and daring at sea helped win American independence in the Revolutionary War. John Paul Jones was at his best when he faced danger. His refusal to accept defeat became the spirit of the navy. He earned the proud title "Father of the American Navy." A nice find!. Seller Inventory # 240803
