Description:

Not ex-library copy. No dust jacket. Second Printing, February 1950. Decorative colored boards show some soiling all over; some minor wear at the spine edges; some minor dents and bumps on the front edges. Before Japan was open to the Western world the Japanese Print was used as a souvenir of famous places within the country. When a traveler made a pilgrimage he took home prints to illustrate his accounts of the curious sights of the places he had visited. For that reason "Jeeper's Japan", designed to show the scenes of the occupation that are familier to all who have played a part in it, is done in Japanese print style. All prints are in color. Text is clean and tight. Size 7 1/4" h X 10 1/4" wide,23 prints. Size: Oblong. Bookseller Inventory # 014428
