Exchange Value Books sells uncommon art catalogs, academic monographs, and political ephemera, shipping from Brooklyn, New York.
I'm an alum of the Rare Book School and the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar.
I started in the trade at the Wexner Center for the Arts bookstore, and previously worked for the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum, and the Indiana University Art Museum's center for Prints, Drawings, and Photographs. More recently, I worked as the rare book cataloger for an antiquarian dealer in Manhattan. jamespayne.info.
