Grande litografia Stampata su carta speciale e non retroscritta Ristampa anni '70 di una celebre tavola facente parte della rara opera del 1620 "Italia di Gio. Ant. Magini data in luce da Fabio suo figliuolo Al Serenissimo Ferdinando Gonzaga Duca di Mantova e di Monferrato" Istria Litografie - 568 Dimensioni Cm 64,00 x 44,00 Giovanni Antonio Magini, noto anche con il nome latino di Maginus (Padova, 13 giugno 1555 - Bologna, 11 febbrario 1617), è stato un astronomo, cartografo, matematico e astrologo italiano. Figlio di Pasquale Magini, cittadino di Padova, completò i suoi studi in filosofia a Bologna nel 1579. Si dedicò all'astronomia e nel 1582 scrisse Ephemerides coelestium motuum", tradotto in italiano l'anno seguente. Nel 1588, dopo la morte di Ignazio Danti, fu assunto dal Senato di Bologna e preferito a Galileo per occupare la cattedra di matematica presso l'Università di Bologna. Magini sostenne il sistema geocentrico del mondo preferendolo al sistema eliocentrico di Copernico. Inventò una teoria planetaria che si aggiunse a quelle già esistenti. Tale teoria consisteva nella rotazione di undici pianeti che descrisse nelle sue "Novæ coelestium orbium theoricæ congruentes cum observationibus N. Copertici" (Venezia, 1589). Nel suo "De Planis Triangulis" (Venezia, 1592), descrisse l'uso dei quadranti nel rilevamento topografico e in astronomia. Nel 1592 Magini pubblicò il "Tabula tetragonica" e nel 1606 ideò accurate tabelle trigonometriche. Lavorò alla geometria della sfera e all'applicazione della trigonometria per le quali inventò i dispositivi di calcolo. Inoltre si dedicò al problema degli specchi e pubblicò la teoria sugli specchi sferici concavi. Pubblicò un articolo sulla "Geographia" di Tolomeo (Colonia, 1596). Come cartografo, realizzò l'Atlante geografico d'Italia, stampato dopo la sua morte nel 1620. L'atlante fu programmato per includere le mappe di ogni regione italiana con la nomenclatura esatta e le note storiche. Composto da un breve testo descrittivo di sole 24 carte, l'opera è corredata di 61 carte geografiche della penisola, e costituisce il primo esempio di atlante italiano. Nonostante pubblicata postuma, l'opera è per intero di mano del Magini, che iniziò la realizzazione delle carte nel 1594 circa, dando alla luce per prima nel 1595 la carta del territorio di Bologna. Tutte le carte vennero alle stampe quindi prima del 1620, nelle loro stesure provvisorie, che successivamente furono corrette e aggiornate per l'edizione definitiva. Tali prove sono rarissime e presentano differenze sostanziali con quelle poi incluse nell'atlante. Per la realizzazione delle lastre il Magini si servì di due dei più famosi intagliatori dell'epoca Litografie - 0568. …

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
