These two volumes are the companions to Cohen's Introduction to Newton's 'Principia' and contain the facsimile of the original of the third (1726) edition of Newton's Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica. Volume I includes Sigla, Symbols and Abbreviations used in the Apparatus Criticus; a Guide to the Apparatus Criticus; a portrait of Newton; dedictions; Halley's Ode to Newton; definitions; and the first and second books. Volume II contains the third book, index and numerous appendices. All in Latin, with numerous diagrams and equations.
