Laid in is a small clipped slip of paper inscribed "yours" and SIGNED by H. G. Wells. The volume has edge rubbing and light spotting at the base of both front and rear panels, with soiling elsewhere. The spine is gently sun washed. Both hinges are starting (webbing is intact) From the Larry McMurtry collection with his "stirrup" bookplate on the front pastedown.
