Around 200 black and white illustrations. 331 pages. 14 pages that include the prefaces for the first, second, third, fourth and fith editions. 8 pages listing previous works on 'Architecture and Archaology' published by Parker and Co. The book cover is torn on the spine and sun faded and the front cover has a liquid mark over the gilt decoration. There is minor shelf wear to extremities. The cover is beginning to pulll away.Pencil inscription of previous owner on the reverse of the ffep and an embossed address on the title page. Some pencil annotations on the pages of the book. The book is otherwise in good condition and the contents are generally clean.
