Book Description Morgan & Scott, London. Decorated and embossed cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Undated, but the introduction by Lord Kinnaird is dated 1902. 122 pages including a glossary, plus 18 pages of photographs and 6 pages of publisher's catalogue (Morgan & Scott were publishers of "The Christian"). The binding is a little soiled and the spine discoloured. There is the witness of a label/bookplate having been removed from the front pastedown and some straining between pages. This sounds a lot worse than it is, as this is a perfectly acceptable little book. The subject was converted to Christianity by missionaries, and appears to have renounced Hinduism pretty comprehensively. Morgan & Scott were publishers of some fairly extreme Methodist literature, and this seems to be a prime example. Size: 5" x 7½" (130mm x 190mm). Seller Inventory # 001894
