1) The Hunting of the Snark, an agony in eight fits, published in 1942, a Zodiac book published by Chatto and Windus, 46 pages, decorative yellow covers with the front spine hinge split, still in good condition. 2) Prayers and Graces published in 1944 by Gollancz, a little book of extraordinary piety collected by Allan M Laing with illustrations by Mervyn Peake, slim blue cloth hard cover with no wear, 64 pages, very good. 3) The Snark by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by Mervyn Peake, published 1953, slim plain yellow cloth hard cover with some discolouration/darkening of edges, (x) 46 pages, no dust jacket, good condition. 4) A Book of Nonsense by Mervyn Peake with an introduction by Maeve Gilmore, published by Peter Owen in 1972, grey cloth hard cover with no wear, 88 pages, fine condition with very good dust jacket.
