About this Item
8 glass plate negs measuring 6.5 x 8.5 inches (16.5 x 21.5 cm). One is cracked in two, one has a chipped corner. Some scratches to surface of plates. Three b&w photos show a city, probably in U.S., judging by inserted flag, a sitting room with fireplace, and a man operating a telephone switchboard. One of the plates is of the sitting room. Most are exterior shots of the building(s). Each plate housed in mylar sheath. All housed in plastic case with lid, which accompanies purchase. A House of Providence is a charitable institution helping the poor, homeless, sick, and elderly. Determining the exact location of these photos would be an interesting, but challenging, research project. Seller Inventory # 135963
