1842. No Edition Stated. 404 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Half bound leather with marbled paper covered boards. Expected library inserts, embossed stamps and inscriptions. Heavy cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Binding is shaky with some cracking to gutters, however pages remain attached. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Water staining to frontispiece and title page. Visible black markings with occasional water stains. Text remains legible. Label to front pastedown slightly scuffed. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Leather peeling overall. Heavy scuffing overall. Book has a slight forward lean.
