132 pp.1 colour lithograph created especially for this publication. 25 colour plates. 137 b/w illustrations. A collection of previously published articles from the art journal XXe Siècle covering all aspects and periods of the artist's career. Contributors include Mircea Eliade, Camille Bourniquel, G. Di San Lazzaro, Dora Vallier, Manuel Gasser, Charles Marq, Maurice Cauchy, J.-J, Leveque, Robert Marteau, Denis Milhau, Gilbert Lascault, André Verdet and Jacques Thirion. Internally clean and unmarked with sound binding. Slight age toning at the extremities. Red cloth covered boards with stamped gilt titles on the front panel and backstrip. Price clipped illustrated dustjacket with illustrated and printed flaps has a 11 cm tear to the head edge of the front panel with minor edge and corner wear. Now protected by clear plastic book wrap.
