Hardcover, no dust jacket. Hardcover appears to be a library rebind, as it looks much newer than the text. Leather on top and bottom of spine bowed outwards a bit. Cloth bookmark detached from top of spine, but still present in text. Gift inscription from 1826 on ffep. Previous price on ffep. Pages are toned. The first and last few pages have some heavier dark smudging and light foxing. The pages are thin, so text on the reverse side of pages is somewhat visible. Some pages have some ink blurring and/or bleeding. Some pages have small dot stain blemish marks. Some pages have what looks like spindly horizontal lines across page.
