A volume of "The County Histories of Scotland." Burgundy cloth with gilt titling on spine, front and rear fixed end-papers each have a pocket with a folded map enclosed, tucked in the book is an invoice dated 1929, made out to R. Randolph Bruce, Government House, Victoria, whose bookplates are affixed to first and last free end-papers, upper page edges are uncut, 438 pages. Book has extremely minor edge wear, folded maps are darkened, foxing spots on text block edges and occasionally in text. This is a very handsome volume - clean, bright and tight.
