A three-volume 1908 set that is more a reference/binding copy than a collectible because moisture exposure has resulted in discoloration/splotching to portions of the boards and/or a few adjoining pages as more particularly described below. Each volume is an 8vo hardcover with uncut fore and bottom edges and top edge gilt. No dust jackets (if issued). The complete text in each volume is fully legible and the contents of each volume is overwhelming clean and securely bound. There is, however, some brown and purplish staining near the top edge of the end papers of Vol. III and very light staining near the top edge and in the gutter of the rear end papers of Vol. I. There is also light creasing in the upper corner of the boards and pages of Vol. II as a result of that corner being bumped. Olive green cloth quarter bound in light green cloth with black leather spine labels that have gilt titling. Vol. I has significant discoloration/splotching on the lower board. Lighter discoloration is present near the top edge of both boards and the spines of Vols. II and III.
