1925-1993 Lycoming County Medical Society (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), three 6 3/8 x 9 1/4 inches tall red buckram cloth hardcover volumes, no dust jackets (as issued), gilt society logo and lettering to front covers and spines, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs, 418, 426, 514 pp. (1358 pages total) Moderate to heavy soiling, rubbing and edgewear to the covers of Volume 1, with bumping to all four tips and inside, a prior owner name and hospital stamps to the blank front free-endpaper and rear pastedown, and mostly marginal soiling to a half dozen pages. Staining to the front cover of Volume 2. The spines of Volumes 2 and 3 are cocked. Otherwise, a clean and unmarked copy of this scarce history of physicians and medicine in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. OCLC (No. 871954438) locates only seven copies at institutions worldwide, including the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Library of Congress in Washington. Not included in this set is the fourth volume, covering 1993-2010.
