Large 8vo hardcover volume in red embossed cloth binding. Spine has small chip and is split on edges. Boards holding but endpapers cracked. Title page and 1st plate missing the vulture. The golden eagle is present. 57 of 60 plates called for. Since no title I am sure this is 1870 or earlier in date. The plates are very clean and sharp colors. They have tissue guards and there is no foxing. About 2 dollars a hand colored plate. Seller Inventory # 3017
