Published in Richmond, Yorkshire in 1821 this is the greatly enlarged and remodelled edition of the work published anonymously in 1814, this edition is a much large format than the earlier edition, illustrated with a folding. Map, Engravings tables (partly fold.), plans, coats of arms etc, 28cm tall approx., 446 pages plus a lengthy 132 page appendix the books leather binding is in need of repair, lacking most of the spine back, both boards detached with some loss of leather to corners, internally the plates are heavily browned and this has also affected the opposing pages of text, some occasional foxing else the greater part of the contents are generally clean book would benefit from rebinding else an acceptable example of this much enlarged and large format edition of this history of the Yorkshire town of Richmond, book is a large heavy format, overseas shipping costs will be higher than the basic standard quote.
