24mo. 188; 189 pages. Hardcovers bound in original full leather. Small books measuring about 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide. The bindings is rubbed and worn but sound. Gilt rules and elaborate stamping on the spines. Now housed in modern removable clear mylar jackets. There have been repairs to the leather bindings (but not on the hinges). The top edge of the rear cover for Volume I has had a couple of holes or spots filled with a blue substance. The same goes for the foot of the spine to Volume II as well as the bottom right corner of Volume II's rear cover. This is not greatly noticeable in normal light but shows up in brighter light. Hinges secure. Outside edges of the text block are foxed. The text is a bit toned with sporadic foxing.
