Colour Frontispiece + Colour half title + Title page + printer/publishers page + 456pages + 10 pages ads. Undated, latest was 1856, but more likely 1854 as title page has Dean and Son 31 Ludgate Hill, they were there 1854-56, Ad pages them at 11, which they left in 1854. Condition hardback binding very good, Decorative embossed gilt front & spine. Contents Very good, clean & tight, noticed one edge nick, inside front is an owner inscription. Still retains tissue guard between frontice & half title pages. Series the Second, third edition. Early Victorian copy of this hard to find childrens book in such very good condition.
