Oversized 9 3/4" x 12" pictorial paper-covered boards, illustrated endpapers, unpaginated [30 pp.]. An near-excellent copy of a very scarce children's title illustrated by Blanche Fisher Wright. Subtitled 'Rimes for Children' and part of the 'Uncle Owl Books' series. Eight extraordinary full-page color illustrations (including 2 pastedown endpapers), 29 other color illustrations, several of these half-page size. A Very Good Plus copy with light soiling, a bump and small slit at the head of the spine, a light, elegant inscription on the title page, and, on the back board, some lines of brown residue (glue?) running vertically near the left edge.
