xvi 768 pages, 1 + 14 pages of realetd adverts, small 4to., full page and text illus, diagrams etc. spotting to EP's, original brown cloth with gilt title, small target vignette in border to upper board, 2 small chips to cloth at bottom of spine, a vg+ copy. A book seldom found in good condition, the text is heavy and often pulls away from the binding. Greener's classic work 1st published in 1881 and ran to 9 editions.
