Guirlande de Flore par Charles Malo. 1819 (calendar to rear dated on Gennajo). Paris, Chez Janet, Rue St Jacques No. 59. Small: 12cm by 8cm approx. Original moire slipcase with gilt detailing a little rubbed and fraying. Book: pale blue boards with gilt detailing (different to slipcase) again a little rubbed. Gilt to faces of page block; still bright. Binding sound but a little shaken. 216 pp. General scattered spotting throughout. Decorative title page, plus fifteen coloured plates with tissue guards and four calendar pages to rear with attractive colour headpieces. French text. More details available on request. (FBppl).
