Beige cloth with brown lettering. Discolored area on upper front board. Minor bump to head and heel of spine and corners. Previous owner gift inscription and Christmas sticker to front endpapers. Fallon, the most resourceful and colorful criminal lawyer ever to practice at the New York bar, was an astounding figure - a man filled with reckless energy and extraordinary brillance. As a defending attorney, he numbered among his clients the great pioneers of the modern crime industry - Arnold Rothstein, Nicky Arnstein, Dapper Don Collins, Edward Fuller, and W.F. McGee, Dandy Phil Kastel, and numerous others. Outside the court-room, he was an extravagant Don Juan and the playboy of Broadway, connected with most of the fair and famous women of the stage, among them Peggy Joyce, Fanny Brice, Gertrude Vanderbilt, and Louise Groody."
