Book has gift inscription on rear side of front free endpaper all crossed out, otherwise book is fine. DJ has one long tear on rear side in a diagonal line from rear bottom corner to front side of hinge sort of near top, taped on inside, several creases on rear, small chips and minor tears on top & bottom of spine & top corners. The DJ has a Currier & Ives, two-page, full-color picture of the fire.
