Bookclub edition c. mid-1960s with reference to Nobel Prize on jacket flaps. Hardcover in tannish-wheat cloth and brown figures spanning boards and spine, in brown and white jacket, 8vo. Not ex-lib. 473pp. With allowance for bookclu construction, NF to Fine/VG. Book has very faint crease along mid backstrip with no effect o tight, strong binding. Extremely light foxing to page edges, light impression along mid fore edge pages. Cloth sharp and clean; pages clean and unmarked. Jacket has light abrasion with some surface loss along spine ends and corners; small chip lower front hinge with associated closed internally tape-repaired tear.
