A couple of 3/8" chips to cloth at edges of boards near upper corners. Moderate rubbing and fading and staining to cloth boards and spine. Top page edges dust stained. Gutter broken at front hinge. Binding loose. Untidy owner's signature and address on contents leaf. Owner's signature dated 1884 on verso of frontispiece. The last of the plates has a 1 1/2" x 2" dampstain.
