Green cloth with gilt lettering. Bump to head and heel of spine. Scuffed mark at heel of spine. Previous owner signature to front endpaper in pencil. Text is otherwise clean and bright, lightly and evenly tanned, no marks. DJ is battered, rear cover is detached, rubbing to all edges, creases and chips. Wonderful cover art. "Those who have had the good fortune to spend their youth amid country scenes (and those who have not) will revel in this story of eight young people who were thus favored.
