299 pp., contemporary decorated cloth, soiled and lightly faded, previous owner?s inscription on title page, occasional spotting, otherwise copy in good condition. Sirdar Ikbal Ali Shah, Was an Indian-Afghan author and diploma. He was educated at Cambridge, undertook assignments for the British Foreign Office and became a publicist for a number of Eastern statesmen. In 1918, Ali Shah became only the second Asian to join the Royal Society for Asian Affairs, contributing articles on Islam to the Society's journal. #3647. Seller Inventory # 014686
