15 x 22 cm. Géza Vermes was a Hungarian photographer, who was active in the 1930s. He was a student at the Atelier school. Atelier was a progressive, private art school, keeping a close watch on European trends. Founded in 1931, by the modernist painter DezsĹ (Desiderius) Orbán (1884-1986) with recognized artists as teachers including Bauhaus architect Farkas Molnár; Anna Lesznai (1885-1966), a key figure of the Hungarian Art Nouveau; and modernist architect and graphic designer Lajos Kozma 1884-1948). .
