Die Lacktafelarbeit aus 24 Farben entstand im Zusammenhang mit Richters Entwurfen fur ein Kirchenfenster fur das Querhaus des Kolner Doms, das im August 2007 der Offentlichkeit ubergeben wurde und aus 11.500 handgefertigten Glasquadraten aus 72 Einzelfarben besteht. 4900 Farben setzt sich aus 192 Panelen mit Quadraten in 25 Farben zusammen, die sich in elf Varianten zusammensetzen lassen ? von einer einzigen grossen Flache bis hin zu mehreren kleinformatigen Feldern. Die Version II, 49 Gemalde, alle im Format 97 x 97 cm, hat Richter speziell fur seine Ausstellung in der Serpentine Gallery entwickelt. 1140 g. Seller Inventory # 32889
