VG/None. First edition, blue binding (priority not established). Blue cloth with gilt lettering and design (a Supreme Court judge lecturing and owl) on front cover. Contains a color frontispiece by N.C. Wyeth of Abraham Lincoln (originally appeared as a cover illustration for Judge magazine, but only the illustration and a caption is used here). The book itself consists of reprints from the April 22 to July 22 issues of Judge without any advertising pages. A scarcer Wyeth item.The book was an inexpensive reprint intended to promote the magazine, and generally shows wear and rubbing quite easily.
