Norwegian language. Bound in three-quarter leather with marbled boards. The spine has titles and decorations stamped in gilt, with Norges National Litteratur, indicating this volume is likely part of a set. 244 pages. The boards show mild edgewear; the leather is moderately rubbed, with the upper corners a bit frayed. The endpapers have light marginal toning, and the front pair are a bit soiled. Hinges solid, binding square. With the bookplate of Norwegian-American collector Herman Gimmestad to the front pastedown, otherwise unmarked. Laid in is a brochure from 1949 advertising the complete works of this author in a 12-volume set. A clean, tight copy. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 124470
