Previous bookseller's stamp on title page. Pastedowns heavily marked and stained by remnants of dust wrapper. Front free endpaper missing. Title pages, pastedowns, preface and contents pages foxed. Most pages have a small amount of foxing at the edge. Page edges are discoloured and foxed. Binding sturdy. Head edge stained, red. Tail edge deckled. Head and tail of spine bumped. Red boards are well rubbed and sporting the odd scuff mark and stain. Spine, with gilt lettering, faded and discoloured. All edges faded and somewhat rounded. Back cover has small white stain at tail. Else in good condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # MIL069
