About this Item
12" x 16" tabloid on newsprint. 26pp. with black and white illustrations. Newspaper rather fragile with chips to main fold and edges. Pages toned commensurate with age. Rare example of this issue of Fusion from April 16, 1971 featuring a discussion of songwriter and cult leader Mel Lyman, by Paul Mills. Includes - wonderfully - a full-page advertisment of David Crosby's album If I Could Only Remember My Name - an oversize print of the musician's face. Fusion was a pop music periodical based in Boston, Massachusetts, operating, alongside Rolling Stone and Crawdaddy!, an early venue for serious criticism of pop music from 1967-1974. In good overall condition. Seller Inventory # ABE-1689978882536
