Selwyn College was the first residential student hall at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. It was opened in 1893 as a hall for Theological students. This copy has a label "Selwyn College Library // The L. G. Whitehead Collection" on the front endpaper. Archdeacon Whitehead was a warden of Selwyn College. A biography of Whitehead by K.F.S.
