A story of French rural life (in French) in publishers' blue cloth with gold lettering and image on front board and fleur de lys patterning on spine. Top edge gilt with untrimmed foredge. Pictorial endpapers. Illustrated with full page coloured plates with captioned tissue guards and full page drawings plates all hors texte. Very faint offsetting to the endpapers and adjacent page but a lovely copy, still tightly bound and clean with no fading or fraying. Payment by credit card through ABE. Paypal accepted.
