PUBLISHER: Winnipeg, Logberg [Logsbergs], 1909. DESCRIPTION :This journal was published from 1908-1910, but we offer here a nearly complete set of 34 issue, as noted above. Year I issues were published every two weeks, and average about 8 pages; Year II issues were published monthly and averaged about 15 pages. 26 cm. Illustrated. CONDITION : First 2 leaves of first issue show very slight foxing. The hardcover volume (year I) with 24 issues is in the original hardcover, with paper-over-"boards" (hardcover) with cloth backstrip, which binding has some wear to spine, otherwise Very Good. All 24 issues (from Year I) bound in this hardcover volume are Very Good or better, bright and clean - without individual covers, likely as in original. The ten issues of the second year are in original booklet form in illustrated printed paper covers, all Very Good or better, with the qualification that Numberss 11 and 12 lack covers. CONTENTS/SUBJECTS : includes church affairs, some poetry, intended for children. This is an Icelandic-Canadian Lutheran Church Journal, edited by a Pastor who resided for some time in Selkirk, Manitoba. Referenced in Hjartar, p. 73. Rare and early religious and literary journal.
