This VG- quality book was copyrighted in 1912 and published by Little, Brown, & Company; it is 7-5/8" tall with 321 numbered pages of text followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book--light gray-green cloth binding with dark green lettering on the front (with brown lettering on the spine, and gold for the series name), is square, reasonably clean, free of edge dings with all four corners very lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are also bumped, with slight damage. The bottom edges have a moderate amount of wear though both lower corners have their color worn off. The spine is mildly soiled but the lettering is intact. The small front panel illustration, in light green, dark green and orange-yellow, has some wear and a scrape (see photo). Except for a penciled name/date and a small book store sticker on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The rear hinge is strong and undamaged; the front hinge is just a little loose but holding quite well. The text paper is modestly and uniformly toned and is quite flexible and not at all brittle. The frontis plus 3 are on coated paper, clean and intact. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-8-10-2
