The dustjacket is unclipped and shows the price of "15/- net".It is yellowed from time, with a tear down the top, and a smaller one down the bottom.The boards are red and in very good condition, with gilded title and publisher on the spine-very good condition. Henry James is frequently regarded as a key transitional figure between literary realism and literary modernism. He is regarded as among the greatest novelists in the English language.
