Measures: 1 W x `10.25 D x 13 H inches. About the work: Descriptive text by N.P. Willis and others. Includes poems by American and foreign authors. Excerpt from Forest, Rock, and Stream: A Series of Twenty Steel Line-Engravings Wedge - shaped promontory, or bluff, pushes forward to the river at this spot; and on its summit, which widens into a noble plain, stands the city Of Hudson. CONDITION NOTES: Very good; light wear not commensurate with age and use (e.g. fray starting at spine heel/crown, covers lightly soiled from handling, damp-stained page corner at front endpapers only, light sporadic foxing throughout, gutter slightly exposed between frontispiece engraving and title page, some tissue guards - creased), strong square spine, clean light age-toned text pages.
