File of approximately two dozen articles by and about Merton collected by his friend Doris Dana. Includes a page of handwritten notes apparently about Merton; a photocopy of a letter from Merton to Dana; and a photocopy of Merton's "My Campaign Platform," his 1967 anti-campaign letter/poster in which he explains why he should not be the replacement for the retiring Abbot (he was not). Together with an envelope and a mailing label addressed to Dana in Merton's hand. The lot is in very good condition.
