Famed boxing referee Gene Corri gives his thoughts on pugilism. 1st edition. 8vo. 255pp. plus 32 pages of photographs. Internally predominantly clean and bright with a few light marks. Some early pages slightly offset from the text block, lightly repaired with tape and rubbed edges, but overall very good. In the original maroon cloth covered boards, some light marks and mild rubbing, fraying to extremities, else very good. Seller Inventory # 26939

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First Edition 1933, with no jacket. In overall acceptable condition - red boards are a little soiled and stained with wear to edges. Spine has become detached and has been repaired with black tape which covers any titles. Binding complete but a bit soft with a couple of cellotape repairs - no pages are loose, no inscriptions or annotations but W H Smith and Sons Subscription Library bookplate to front pastedown.
