The Fifth Act of The Cenci, a verse drama by Percy Shelley, was issued as "The Bibelot", Volume I, No. 12, in December of 1895. Publisher Thomas B. Mosher of Portland, Maine chose to reprint Shelley's great work because, as he says in the introduction, ss The great Fifth Act of The Cenci" is the consummate flower of Shelley's heart and brain made one. Slightly weathered on the exterior, but still clean and attractive - Binding thread has separated from cover and a some of the folios - with the following noted: EXTERIOR Modest weathering about the edges; mild surface rub ; Small loss to spine extremities and edges - shallow creasing to bottom fore-edge corner on rear cover . else clean and presentable. BINDING The binding thread has given way and separated from the cover and a few of the folios. The whole remains nicely in place. INTERIOR A bit of shallow surface rumple to title page and adjacent leaves - front material remains unopened (leaves are not separated) . else clean and unmarked throughout. Seller Inventory # 63
