1897. No Edition Remarks. 333 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Purple cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are mildly tanned and moderately foxed, but text remains clear. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with ex-libris sticker to front pastedown. Deckled edges. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright.
