lst U.K.ed., Illustrated with drawings; not paginated, but has 6 pp. Small 8vo.+ color picture on the cover. A little ruffling to lower right corner, and some dusting. This is the earlier printing, before "pupped a car" was changed to "built a car" in Stnaza 6, line. 5. (Livingston, Supplement, pp. 67-8.) Only binding is an orange string. Tied-in in a small strip with a drawing and "Best wishes from _____to _____," not filled in. Together with the original mailing envelope addressed to Munson Havens of Cleveland, Ohio, an author and collector of Kipling material. Envelope bears two cancelled one-cent stamps and has pencil note from Havens listing the title. Seller Inventory # ABE-1415997373
