[iv] + 26 pp. Perfect binding, recased, with boards and spine decorated in red and gilt, including titles, with imitation medieval clasps over recessed panels on boards, which are bevelled. All edges gilt. Binder's label of Bone and Son, 76, Fleet Street, London. Some wear to extremities and spotting on the blank leaves, but otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by frontispiece title page and by illuminated and floreated chromolithograph title page and borders in main text of 28 pages, interleaved with blank guard sheets. Decorated by titles to each extract and by illuminated initials. A floral gift book with verses illuminated by chromolithograph borders, by Samuel Stanesby of Derby 1830-1911), artist and illustrator. Published by Griffith and Farran of St Paul's Churchyard and bound by Bone and Son of Fleet Street, both well known producers of these highly ornamented works. A very scarce title.
