This 6.375 x 9.5 inch, 704 page hardcover book with dust wrapper is the 1965 First Edition of this title with that date on the title page, with no ISBN number on the copyright page along with the 1965 copyright. This book is in near fine condition with only bumps to the two top corners and one very small mark to the top edge of the grey cloth covers. The covers show gilt titling on front panel and spine ? with the spine gilt title inside a red block. This title was part of the Mainstream of America series by Doubleday and Company. The text pages show no signs of wear or damage ? with the endpapers showing two different maps and with the text including a number of black-and-white full-page maps. The book gives a history of the United States in World War II. The dust wrapper is in near fine condition with only a bit of crinkling along the top edge ? and the inside front flap has been accidentally folded at some point ? leaving that flap with a permanent crease. 704 pages.
