Crown8vo, [xx], 269 p. Superb prize binding by Bickers & Son, Leicester for The Dexter Memorial Fund Essay Prize at The Grammar School, Loughborough founded in 1495. Presented to J.J.F.Oldershaw of the Upper VI in Jan 09. Full royal blue polished calf with five raised bands on the gilt lettered and decorated backstrip, fine double rule around the upper and lower boards, school arms on the upper cover, marbled endpapers, board edges gilded, blind-stamped dentelles. Prize plate on front pastedown, £4-10-0 in pencil on recto of ffep, slight trace of fading of backstrip otherwise a very attractive fine copy with no foxing. Seller Inventory # 9858
